Well the week back from Turkey hasn’t been too eventful. Not really been that motivated to do much in the way of work but have done a little bit during the week just to keep the ball rolling. Went for a ride to get the legs moving again after the week in Turkey and they felt pretty good as they went around. Even had to go up a long drag that I don’t normally go up due to some road works that was taking place on the normal course.
It was Estee’s Birthday yesterday so after a day of not too much we went out for Dinner at the ‘Cosmo’. This is a chinese buffett place that isn’t too bad. The food was pretty good and certainly plentiful. The scenary would have been nice too if we were able to get near the window but alas we weren’t able to .. next time.
This weekend has seen little old Margate invaded by the Mod Squad on their Vespa’s. Now we do have a lot of little two stroke motorbikes running around the place at the best of times and even have a motorbike shop at the end of the street. But gee … now we are really under invasion. And even better is the fashion that some of the squad are sporting. Unfortunately I haven’t any pictures for you to see but envisage this if you can ….
Male about 30ish … 5 foot 5inches … pipe legged jeans rolled up slightly at
the bottom which leave about 5 inches of his leg showing so that you can see his
red Dr Marten boots.
I had to restrain myself until he was far enough away not to hear me laugh … And worse was the he wasn’t the only one!!!
Today has been one of those days we all hate … clean the house day … oh well has to be done I guess.
