I have moved the blog to wordpress as it allows for a little more customisation of the page. The image in the header is one that I took last year in Coffs Harbour. Not too shabby I think. The image I am sure will change depending on my mood. A pity it can have a selection of images to choose from and scroll through them.
Anyway … Have been fiddling around with wordpress to get this up and running and it is pretty good. Was able to import all my posts from the old place and the comments and didn’t need to do much more than press a button. The adding of posts and images seems to be a bit better but will see when the time comes.
Received email from the Tour de France organisers yesterday. We have to go to London to attend a meeting about what a role will be. Fortunately, we were going anyway so not too much bother, just had to book another day in town.
Could be a very interesting experience … let us see if we can get close to the riders
