Well the weather was great this morning. Woke up to a brilliant blue sky. There was even a significant amount of warmth in the air. When I went for my ride, I didn’t even put on my arm warmers so it must have been pretty damn good!! Did wear my vest to keep the chest warm though, but that did come off a few klms down the road.
After a qucik check of the email, I was out on the road at about 9ish which is a few hours earlier than the normal ride time. Wasn’t too bad traffic wise so maybe I will do that as much as I can in the coming weeks. Never know, might even get up when the sun does at about 0430!!!!! But then again maybe not!
Made my way around the normal course that I have been using. I will have to start to vary it a bit more. Might go off to Sandwich tomorrow which should be a good 60km if the weather is good again. Never know Deal may beacon me on which is a little further again. Just have to watch the road on that one as I am not sure of the conditions there.
Watched a DVD that called “Their a Weird Mob” last night. I have seen it before but I am trying to educate Estee on the ways of Australia. It wasn’t as funny as I remember it but it was still good. You have to take everything about it with a pinch of salt mind but it is still interesting to see the way things could have been. Even if they are taking the piss a little bit and exaggerating things.
Also saw in the movie pictures of Sydney Harbour and the incomplete Sydney Opera House. It is scary to see how things around the harbout have changed so much. No Centerpoint Tower back then either …
