Home made biscuits …

July 5, 2007

Wel Estee had been wanting to have some ANZAC biscuits since we had some in Turkey in April. It isn’t too hard to make them and I sort of new the ingredients just didn’t know the quantities. After a quick search on Google for the ingredients, we headed of and found what was needed in the shop.

Estee started the cooking and I finished. Sort of reminded me of home in the way that sometimes Dad will take over from Mum when she is cooking as he knows how to do it properly. Not saying he doesn’t know all the time but … Anyway, mixed all the stuff together through them in the oven and waited for 15minutes for them to cook and then threw another lot in.

ANZAC Biscuits fresh from the ovenNow my memory isn’t always the best but I could have sworn that ANZAC Biscuits were hard when they came out of the oven. Apparently not though according to all the recipes that we were able to locate and the end result that we came up with. Sorry Mum … you must be making them a little dry or having them in the oven a little too long.

ANZAC biscuitsOh … How did they taste? Ask the Aussies as the school Estee works at … they didn’t have enough to get through the day
