Winter again

Well it appears that winter has again returned to Kent. Last week wasn’t too bad. A little cool in the mornings but generally not too bad. Over the weekend, the wind cam up and the temperature went down during the day. Wasn’t terrible but it was getting there.

We went ten pin bowling again which was interesting. No bets this time just bowling as Estee couldn’t afford to pay for dinner again. Played three games and I averaged about 130 which isn’t too bad although it should have been better than that. Might have to get back into going on a regular basis.

Sunday wasn’t the best, extremely windy so didn’t do too much and today looks like it is going to be the same as far as the weather goes. A little rain and cool breeze.

It’s been a month since my last confession ….

Oh sorry … Wrong place …

It has been a while since I have written anything. The last thing being a little bit about our trip to France for le Tour de France. I didn’t really finish that looking back at it. Since then, Estee has been on holidays enjoying time off for good behaviour at the school that she teach’s at. We won’t mention the school just to say that it isn’t necessarily the best one going around from all accounts in relation to marks or behaviour.

We didn’t really do too much, I tried to do some work during the time and did some riding also but that was about it. Unless you count Putt Putt Golf and Ten Pin Bowling as excitement. Which really wasn’t that bad as I won both of them. Perhaps I should have let Estee win … Nah what fun would that be??

Went across to a little restaurant the other night, the prize for beating Estee at bowling, called Bon Apettite. Original name I know but it was too bad a place to eat. The servings were off a decent size which is always good and the food wasn’t too bad. Especially the mussels that I had for entree. The hard bit was the bill. OK I know you pay for quality and the food was pretty good. But – even though I didn’t pay – it was still an expensive meal. If you go and I certainly don’t suggest that you don’t go, perhaps share an entree with your partner to save on the cost …

Other than that .. not too much happening, although the sun is out today and I have been out for a ride in the almost windless conditions with nice clear blue skies .. sure it won’t last for too long ….
