I am an Aussie in the UK .. now isn’t that a strange thing!! Yes there are many of us over in this part of the world working and sight seeing. What you have to realise is that it takes a day to get here and a day to get back. So we have to be here for a while to make hte most of it.
Anyway … back to me!!
I grew up in the Illawarra on the east coast of Australia until moving to Sydney for work which I basically did until I left Oz to come here to the UK. This isn’t my first trip to the UK, I was here in 2005 to go and see relatives and the Tour de France. So I guess I got a little bit of a taste for the UK and Europe back then. So here I am back again and looking to travel through parts of Europe from time to time and see how the other half live.
To all the English … don’t worry, I won’t be here forever. I am going back home to the sunshine and the beaches and the glorious bush that we have back in Oz. It isn’t that I don’t like the UK, it is just the Australia is so much better.
