For those that don’t know, I enjoy a bit of cycling although if you know me you would also know that I haven’t done a hell of a lot of training or indeed plain old riding over the past few years.
I have been out and purchased a bike since arriving here in the UK and have even used surprisingly enough on an almost regular basis. But I still enjoy cycling and like to watch it.
This year the Tour de France is coming to London and I am taking the opportunity while here to get up close and personal with the tour. Not as up close and personal as Estee would like to get but still pretty close.
Before leaving Australia, I put my name down to assist with le Tour when it comes to London and then goes out from London to Canterbury – not far from where I live at the moment in Margate. Well, we have confirmation that we are to attend a session regarding the Marshalling duties that we will be required for in London in the next week or so. It was good timing as we will be in London that week to do some sightseeing. So all is good.
Will keep you informed as things happen on this page regarding the tour and our little adventure that we have.
Will even write about my trip to France in detail on this page when we go to see the last few stages of le Tour in late July.
